While we have not received any reports of members of the Via community being affected by the virus, we strongly encourage you to follow guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY — Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
- COVER YOUR COUGH OR SNEEZE — Use a tissue to cover your cough or sneeze (or the inside of your elbow), then throw the tissue in the trash.
- STAY AT HOME IF YOU FEEL SICK — If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, stay home, seek medical attention if necessary, and follow the directions of your local health authority.
You can learn more about the CDC’s guidance here. We’ve established a dedicated team to monitor the situation closely, respond to any emerging issues, and cooperate fully with health authorities as needed.
